HOPE’s Food Systems work aims to build a sustainable local economy and healthy, locally grown food system that ensures equitable access to fresh, healthy, affordable, local food throughout Oakland's most vulnerable neighborhoods.
HOPE’s Built Environment program aims to promote policies that create safe, attractive spaces for physical activity in Oakland neighborhoods, and ensure that health plays a role in city planning.
HOPE’s School Food work aims to enhance the availability of fresh, local, affordable food in Oakland Unifies School District schools, school neighborhoods, and community.
HOPE’s Civic and Youth Engagement work sustains community leadership and ownership within the Collaborative by building the leadership capacities of community members and engaging youth in leading significant systems change.
